Meet the Founder
I founded our firm to help individuals, families, and business owners make confident financial decisions, without the confusion, pressure, and one-size-fits-all advice that often dominates this industry. We work to infuse holistic financial planning with tax strategy and estate planning support all in one place, and make a positive impact in our clients’ lives.
I come from a family of financial advisors. My passion for investing began at a young age. Before entering wealth management over a decade ago, I founded and operated a successful software company in Overland Park. Running a business taught me a lot about building complex systems that can adapt to an ever-changing world: things like cash flow, risk management, cost efficiencies, and the consequences of decisions made today that don’t show up until years later. Those perspectives shape how we approach financial planning: comprehensive, structured, consultative, and relentlessly focused on delivering superior outcomes. Today we work with clients on comprehensive wealth management, retirement planning, and employer-sponsored retirement plans, including 401(k) and other qualified plans for small and mid-sized businesses.
Early in my career I recognized the importance of constant improvement and learning. I hold the ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant®) designation from the American College of Financial Services, as well as the CRPC® (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor®) and CRPS® (Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist®) designations through the College for Financial Planning. More importantly, I believe good advice starts with truly listening. Every client’s situation is different, and effective planning requires understanding your goals, values, and preferences - not just numbers on a page.
I live in Johnson County with my wife and our two sons. Being a husband and father strongly influences how I think about money, not as an end goal, but as a tool to support security, flexibility, and the ability to be present for the moments that matter. That perspective drives every recommendation I make and every financial plan I build.
Outside of client work, I’m actively involved in the local community and currently serve on the board of the Spring Hill Education Foundation, as well as SHRM of Johnson County. Working alongside community and business leaders has reinforced my belief that strong planning, whether financial or organizational, creates better outcomes for people and businesses alike.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, supporting my kids’ activities, traveling, enjoying winter sports, or continuing to deepen my knowledge of finance, technology, and business.
I consider it a privilege to do this work. My goal as a founder and advisor is simple: build long-term relationships and provide clear, thoughtful guidance that helps clients move forward with confidence.
